This Saturday (1/14) is our rescheduled January climbing trip to Griffin Falls, AL.

Griffin Falls is located near Collinsville, AL and is about 2 and a half hours from Atlanta.

The weather was calling for rain but currently the forecast looks pretty good and is calling for cloudy with temperatures in the mid 60s.

If we get closer to Saturday and it looks like it may rain we will move the trip to Sunday, so keep an eye out for another email.

About Griffin Falls. Griffin Falls is a small sandstone cliff in northeast Alabama. It is best know for its waterfall, but there are also several 5.10 and up sport routes

and easier trad routes for climbing. The crag is on private land but the land owner allows climbers to use the land. More information can be found here:

We will meet at the Marietta Park & Ride at 7:15 am EST or you can meet us at the Griffin Falls parking lot at 9:30 am EST. Please carpool if possible because Griffin Falls has a small parking lot.
