We decided to switch to Lost Wall as it provides more room to spread out and also offers more mid-range climbs than Griffin Falls.

Lost Wall is in the Crockford-Pigeon WMA near Lafayette, GA approx. 2hours from Atl.  The cliff line is sandstone with a fairly easy approach and a variety of trad routes. We will probably focus on the Lost Wall section, though the Netherworld area can be accessed by following the cliff line south.

There are no restrooms or water available on site. Parking is limited, please carpool if possible.

A GA hunt or fish license is required and can be purchased online.  The fishing license is the cheapest option and also gives access to Rocktown, plus many other WMAs with hiking/mtn biking trails. Recreational Hunting, Fishing, and related licenses: Online at https://georgiawildlife.com/licenses-permits-passes

Where do we meet? Saturday 9/12/20  7:15 am at Marietta park and ride. You can also meet the group directly at the event @ 9:15 EST

Head north on I-75 to exit #320 GA 136 (Lafayette/Resaca exit). Head west on 136 to the junction with GA 193; follow 193 into downtown Lafayette. Watch the signs and stay on 193 through a couple of turns, then continue almost three miles to the intersection with Chamberlain Road. Take a left on Chamberlain Road and continue about three miles to the entrance to Crockford-Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area. Turn right here on Rocky Lane and keep your speed down to 20 or you will be ticketed. Continue almost two miles through a series of switchbacks; the pullout for the Lost Wall trail is at the fourth switchback.
