The ever-popular Mikey’s Mantle
The first club trip of the new year will be held this Saturday, January 5 at Currahee Mountain in northeast Georgia. The large granite slab on the southeast face of Currahee is an excellent solar collector, providing warm climbing on the coldest winter days. There is a mix of sport and trad climbing to be had.
We will be meeting at the Indian Trail Park and Ride at 8:30am to carpool to the crag. For those wishing to meet us there, we should be arriving at the summit parking lot around 10:00am.
